Mission
Our mission at Young Artists Foundation (YAF) is to cultivate the next generation of world-class talent in classical music. We provide our students with the best performance opportunities, training, and mentorship possible in pursuit of artistic excellence, while building community engagement with the arts through public concerts, masterclasses, and special events at local Bay Area venues.
History
YAF was founded in 2023 in the San Francisco Bay Area by local alumni of The Juilliard School to connect exceptional pre-professional students with established teaching artists. YAFs inaugural season launched its youth chamber music program, focusing on showcasing student and faculty talent from San Francisco to San Jose. Within its first year, YAF gained recognition by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization (FEIN 92-3321596, CA Registered Charity CT0291396).
