YAF students have the unique opportunity to participate in our quarterly Masterclass Series, taught by world-renowned instrumentalists with successful careers. YAF is honored to host guest artists including international competition prizewinners, professors of elite conservatories, and principals of major symphony orchestras, to share their insights and knowledge with our communities. By regularly bringing in guest artists trained or based in New York City, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, and others, we seek to attract more top talent to the San Francisco Bay Area, elevating its perception as not only a technological hub, but a cultural center for future generations of emerging artists.
