Bay Area Young Musician's Scholarship Program
At Young Artists Foundation, we believe that the highest quality music education should be accessible to all talented students, regardless of financial background. Exceptional music training, private lessons, and participation in world-class music festivals and events are often costly, but they are essential to nurturing the next generation of classical musicians. That's why we offer a unique scholarship and tuition assistance program for students dedicated to strings, woodwinds, and piano—to ensure that young artists develop their potential thorugh top-tier instruction and performance opportunities, without financial barriers.

The program provides in-depth, collaborative performance opportunities for young musicians specializing in string instruments, woodwinds, and piano.

All students who participate in the Chamber Music Program are eligible for Scholarship, as demonstrated by a combination of their musical achievement and financial need.
Financial Assistance for Private Lessons
YAF offers financial assistance for private study, available to students who are actively enrolled in our Chamber Music Program, to further their studies. Financial assistance for private lessons is granted to the most gifted and dedicated music students who otherwise would not be able to afford the high cost of consistent and high quality instruction by the best teachers, who are recognized for their expertise and excellence. All private teachers whose students are considered for this program must be vetted and approved by the Foundation to guarantee that students receiving aid are mentored by educators who are aligned with YAF's exceptional standards in the performing arts.
